Topic: The topic of the blog should be related to health law. It does not need to be about health law in Canada specifically, though ideally there is a link to Canada. The blog post should be an original submission.

Style: The blog post should be presented in an opinion/editorial format, not an academic paper style, but should have an overall argument or thesis. Avoid using legal jargon. Please see examples of past blog pieces here: https://justiceandtechnology.com/health-law-blog/

Language: We encourage submissions in French or English.

Submission length: 1000-1500 words.

Citation: Since this is a blog post and not an academic paper, footnotes or academic citations are not necessary. Please hyperlink sources where available. 

Title: The title should be to the point and provide a clear indication of the blog post’s focus

Keywords: Assign 3-5 keywords to the blog post; these will be used to search the blog posts on the website.

Author identity: Please provide your name (as it will be displayed), your pronouns, and a brief sentence about yourself that will be posted along with the post.

Format: Please submit the blog post as a Word Document. Send your draft to Kristen Hogg, Student Editor, at kristen.hogg@torontomu.ca.

Process: The blog posts will undergo editorial review by the Faculty Editor (Professor Katie Hammond) and the Student Editor (Kristen Hogg).
